Opinion
Originally launched at $499 and up, the PlayBook wasn't a hot seller. But toward the end of 2011 Research in Motion dropped the starting price to a much more attractive $199 which makes this tablet a strong alternative to the Amazon Kindle Fire.

Product Notes
A 3G model is also in the works.
